I reckon I could be game for such a gathering.

I look like a newbie, but I was here before, left, then came back - ignore my "youth" on SU. :-P

(formerly IndependentMind... if that matters)

5 - LOL

I know, I know... But I was a 2 year veteran when I left...

1 - This forum is usually kinda quiet. It might be possible to get something going, but mostly people are very cautious when it comes to meeting people they know (or don't) from online...

Maybe if they knew it would be in a very public place, sounded fun, inexpensive, and not a venue likely to turn rowdy... that might help some.

I know what you mean, but I am pretty well tied to one place these days. Two granddaughters now, one of 'em factory new. Plus my parents are getting along in years and need me to run errands. All of which adds up to no trips to Dallas :(

Would if I could!

7 - I was only sportin' anyhow. I did see the pic on yer blog. CUTE! And many congratulations!

I remember when mine were small and factory new... fun and hard and exciting. It really does help to have family around... on many, many fronts.

Don't it though? I had LOTS of family back when, most of 'em had littl'uns of their own though. We traded off a lot.

Thankee, her name is Emma, just in case I didn't post it. She's such a sweet little thing!
